The Sales Settings section in AureusERP allows businesses to configure how sales operations, pricing, products, invoices, and quotations are managed.
Each subsection under Sales Settings provides flexibility to customize the workflow as per business needs.
Manage Products
This section allows you to control how products are managed and displayed in the Sales module. You can enable or disable product variants, units of measure, and product packaging options based on your sales process.
Steps to Access
Navigate to
Sales → Settings → Manage Productsas shown below:

You will see the following configuration fields:
Variants: Enable this to allow products to have multiple variants based on attributes such as color, size, or material. Useful for businesses selling customizable or multi-option products.
Unit of Measure: Allow products to be sold in different units such as units, or dozens. This ensures flexibility in handling different sales quantities or pricing per unit type.
Packagings: Enable this to manage multiple packaging options for a product (e.g., pack of 6, box of 12). Helps in optimizing shipping, inventory management, and bulk sales.
Action Button
- Save Changes: Click this button to apply and save all your configuration updates.
Manage Invoices
This section defines how invoices are generated for confirmed sales orders.
It helps control whether invoices are created based on ordered or delivered quantities, aligning billing with your business process.
Steps to Access

You will see the following configuration fields:
Invoice Policy:
Choose when invoices should be generated. You can select one of the following options:Ordered Quantities:
Invoices are created based on the total quantities ordered, regardless of delivery.
Use this option when you want to bill customers immediately after confirming the order.Delivered Quantities:
Invoices are created based on the quantities actually delivered to the customer.
This option ensures billing aligns with completed deliveries, minimizing discrepancies.

Manage Pricing
This section allows configuration of product pricing behavior within the Sales module.
You can choose to enable product discounts and display profit margins directly in sales orders for better visibility and control.

Discount:
Enable this option to allow sales representatives to apply discounts directly to sales orders or quotations.
Helps in promotional sales, special offers, and flexible pricing strategies.Margins:
Turn this on to display product margins within sales orders.
It helps sales teams monitor profitability and make data-driven decisions while finalizing deals.

Manage Quotation & Order
This section manages how sales quotations and orders are configured, validated, and confirmed.
It defines quotation validity and ensures sales orders are locked after confirmation to prevent further modification.
Steps to Access
Navigate to
Sales → Settings → Manage Quotation & Orderas shown below:
You will see the following configuration fields:
Default Quotation Validity (In Days):
Specify the number of days a quotation remains valid before expiring.
After this period, the quotation cannot be confirmed without renewal or extension.Lock Confirm Sales:
Enable this to automatically lock sales orders once confirmed.
This prevents accidental changes to confirmed sales orders, ensuring data consistency and preventing discrepancies in billing and delivery.
